API Keys are used for certain integrations in Smartwaiver. This article will go over how to create a new one, and how to manage ones you may already have on your account.
Start by logging into www.smartwaiver.com.
Step 1:
Click on the My Account icon towards the top-left of your screen and then API Keys.
Step 2:
Click on the Create New API Key button.
Step 3:
Create a name/label for your API Key and then click on the Save API Token button.
Tip: We typically name the label of the key the same as the name of the integration. For example, if you are creating an integration for Patch Retention, simply label the key "Patch" to help keep track of it.
Step 4:
Click on the Copy Key button and save your key in a safe location.
Note: You will not be able to view this key again!
Back on the main API Keys screen, you will see your key listed with the Enable switch "On" indicating that the API key is enabled. To disable, simply toggle the Enabled switch off.
