Smartwaiver offers the ability to change your service plan at any time. You have the ability to either upgrade or downgrade based on how many signed waivers you anticipate for the upcoming month.
When you downgrade your plan a credit will be issued to your account for the unused days on your current plan and a new billing cycle for the new plan will begin.
An Example:
Bob's Business is signed up for the Business Plan which allows 1,000 waivers per month for $155/month. His billing cycle ends on the 15th of each month.
On the 10th of the month, Bob notices that he has used only 400 waivers for the current billing cycle, and he does not anticipate reaching over 600 waivers for the month.
So Bob easily downgrades to the Professional Plan which allows 600 waivers per month. He immediately receives a credit on his account for the five days that he did not use the Business Plan.
Now, starting on the 10th of the month, Bob has a new billing cycle that will allow 600 waivers per month which he can upgrade or downgrade again at any time depending on his business levels.
Breaking it Down by the Numbers:
Business Plan = $155/month ($5.16 per day in a 30 day billing cycle)
Bob downgrades to the Professional Plan ($105/month) with 5 days left in his billing cycle.
A credit of $25.83 ($5.16 x 5 days) is issued to his account.
His new billing cycle begins immediately.
He pays $79.17 for his new Professional Plan for the first month ($105-$25.83).
The next month he will be charged $105.
