Stellar provides industry specific reservations management software. Stellar’s sleek and customizable online booking interface allows customers to easily find availability and book online. To Set Up the Stellar + Smartwaiver Integration:
- Create your Smartwaiver API Key.
In Smartwaiver, go to My Account->API Keys->Create New API Key and provide the resulting API Key to Stellar support.
- Create your waivers in Smartwaiver.
For each of the waiver templates you create in Smartwaiver, you must enable Autotags. Otherwise your waivers won't be linked to your bookings. In Smartwaiver, for each waiver template, go to Edit Waivers->(my waiver)->Edit->Options->Waiver Autotag and make sure you check "Retain autotag for next participant after waiver has been completed." and save the waiver template.
- Set a default waiver link.
If you use the same waiver template for all your Unit Types or in case you forget to link a Unit Type to a waiver template, it is highly recommended to set a default waiver link. Identify the default waiver you want to use in Smartwaiver, then go to Add to Your Website->Waiver Links->(my waiver) and copy the full link provided starting with https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/ ...
Paste this link into your Stellar account. Go to the field Control->Location Settings->Integrations->Smartwaiver Waiver Link.
- (optional) Link your Unit Types to your waivers.
If you don't use the same waiver template for all your Unit Types, you can override the default waiver link by going to Units->Unit Types->(my Unit Type)->Edit Style Info->Override Smartwaiver Default Waiver (optional) and select the waiver you'd like to use.
- Connect Stellar to Smartwaiver.
Make sure you complete the above steps first, then click the "Connect" button above if you're not already connected.
- (optional) Include a Custom Link
By default, Stellar will automatically add a "Sign Waiver" link on the frontend checkout success page and next to the first Unit Type's name in the customer's booking confirmation email. If you want to additionally place this link elsewhere in your location's confirmation email policies, unit type's confirmation email policies and/or checkout success text, simply use the following merge tag and it will be automatically replaced with the Smartwaiver link: {SMARTWAIVER_LINK}
Note: In order to use this integration, active Stellar and Smartwaiver accounts are required.
