With the Smartwaiver + FareHarbor integration, your customers can fill out a waiver or release form online and it will automatically be added to your FareHarbor booking.
If you are not seeing signed waivers show up in your FareHarbor manifest there can be a few things causing this:
A) Missing Waivers Within a Group Booking
Within each individual waiver (that you use in FareHarbor), you must ensure the 'Waiver Autotag' toggle is turned on within the waiver's 'Settings' button.
To setup this backend configuration:
- Log in to your Smartwaiver account via www.smartwaiver.com
- Click into the "Create/Edit Waivers" section
- If you have already added a waiver template into your account, skip to Step 4
- You can add a waiver to your account manually via:
- the Waiver Editor
- send a message to support@smartwaiver.com and have us convert the waiver for you. This service is free of charge, so please feel free to send any waivers you need converted.
- Please keep in mind that waivers need to be PDF or Word DOC for our team to convert.

- Once we have a Waiver Template in our account, we're going to click into it as if we were going to edit it, and then click into the settings of the Waiver via this button located towards the top of your screen:
- Next, we're going to scroll down until we find this setting and toggle it on:
- Finally, whenever we make changes to the waiver, we're going to have to Publish those changes. Click out of the settings menu and then look near the top-right of the screen for the Publish button:
B) Waiver Not Appearing in FareHarbor
The link contained within the Fareharbor confirmation email must be accessed in order for the data to be sent back to FareHarbor.
- Any waiver completed outside of the FareHarbor confirmation email or not using the specific link with the reservation ID will be available within your Smartwaiver Console only. These waivers will not tie back to the FareHarbor manifest.
If you need to manually connect a signed waiver to a FareHarbor registration you can reach out to FareHarbor support for assistance with this.
C) New Waiver? Check your Integration
If you are using a new waiver link, double-check with FareHarbor to see that the waiver was properly added to your bookings
- Anytime you create/add a new waiver to your Smartwaiver account, you will need to reach out to FareHarbor's support team to have them add that new waiver to any bookings you’d like it associated with in FareHarbor.
- This process can be done manually as well through the instructions found on the FareHarbor Support Page.
