The following steps will help businesses that are using slow internet connections at their facility:
1. Disable Auto Photo Capture
Auto Photo Capture uploads images to our servers which can require more bandwidth from your internet connection.
2. Consider reducing the size or removing your waiver’s logo.
Larger images on your waiver’s header require more bandwidth from your internet connection.
3. Reduce the number of signatures and initials on your smart waiver.*
Signatures and initials are sent to the Smartwaiver servers as images, which require a significant amount of bandwidth from your internet connection. Consider replacing initials with I Agree checkboxes which use less bandwidth.
If your connection is still slow or down, you can use the Smartwaiver Kiosk app for iPads in Offline Mode.
* Consult with your insurance company or legal adviser before altering your smart waiver.
