Smartwaiver forms now support multiple adult participants on a single waiver. Groups, families and teams can sign together in one submission instead of filling out separate waivers.
Early Adoption: This feature is in Early Adoption and will only appear for enabled accounts. To have multi-signature enabled on for your account, contact our Support team at support@smartwaiver.com. We'll turn it on and send you next steps to get started.
What's supported
One waiver form can include up to 10 total participants, in any of these combinations:
- Adults only: up to 10 adults on one form
- Adults and minors together: more than one adult plus one or more minors, up to 10 total
- Minors only: up to 10 minors, signed for by a parent/guardian who isn't participating
How billing works
Every participant on a form counts toward your waiver usage. That includes each adult and each minor. One submission with several participants is billed per participant, not per form.
Example: A family signs one waiver with 2 adults and 3 minors. That counts as 5 participants on your bill, not 1.
Example: A group of 6 adults and 4 minors signs one waiver. That counts as 10 participants.
How to request this feature
- Email support@smartwaiver.com and ask to join the Multiple Adult Signatures Early Adoption program.
- Our team will turn the feature on for your account.
- We'll email you to let you know you're enabled and ready to go! (Once enabled, you will see multi-sign participant button options on any waiver you publish)
Setting up multiple adult signatures on your waiver template
No setup required! Once our team enables the feature in your account, any waiver you publish will offer guests options of up to 10 Participants across adults and minors.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many people can sign one waiver?
Yes. Each form allows up to 10 total participants (adults and minors combined).
Will I be charged for each person on the waiver?
Yes. Each adult and each minor on a submission counts as a separate participant for billing.
Will all participants sync to my booking system?
Not yet. During Early Adoption, only the first adult participant on a waiver syncs to third-party booking systems (such as FareHarbor, Ticketure, Rezdy and Recreogo). For now, this feature works best for accounts that don't use a booking integration.
Is this feature available on my plan?
Early Adoption for this feature is open to all plans. Contact support@smartwaiver.com to have it turned on.
