After attaining permission from a guest to use their cellular number, you can send a link to your digital waiver via text message directly from the Waiver Console with the Send Your Waiver feature.
The text message your guests receive will include the text:
"Reply CANCEL to stop receiving waiver messages"
If your guest replies with the word CANCEL, they will be opted-out of receiving future text messages from Smartwaiver. Only the single-word message will trigger this opt-out. Replying with other words, for example, PLEASE CANCEL
will not work.
If a guest would like to opt back in to receiving messages from your business, they will need to reply with the word START.
* Reminder: Before sending any SMS messages to your customers using Smartwaiver’s Send Your Waiver SMS feature, you must obtain consent to use their phone number.
* The SMS Text feature is only available to users on an active/paid plan, and is not available during the free-trial period.
