The Notes feature allows us to add notes to existing waivers after they have been signed. They can only be seen from the "View Signed Waivers" section of your console, so it can be useful if you need to add a comment about a participant. Notes can also be viewed by your Staff Users as long as they have the "Data Export" permission enabled.
To add a note to a participant record after the waiver is signed:
1. Click on View Signed Waivers.
2. Search for a participant and then select their name from the Waiver Console.
3. When the participant window pops up on the right side of the screen, click the three vertical dots to the right of the participant's name. Click Add Note
4. Add notes to add to the participant record and click Save.
5. You'll now see the Notes icon next to the participant's name in the Waiver Console.
6. Now when searching this participant again in the Waiver Console and clicking their name, you will once again see the note icon on the new pop-up window.
Clicking the icon will pull up the note and allow you to view it.
The grey box located under the note will typically have a timestamp and display the user that has made the note. This can especially be useful if you are working with Staff Users as it will let you know when the note was made, and who made the note.
Notes also have the capacity to be locked. This will make it so that notes cannot be edited once they are created. By default, this setting will be turned on.
You can find this setting within your "Console Settings" located near the top right of the admins console:
Then, scroll all the way to the bottom under Miscellaneous:
Be sure to "Save Settings" when you're done!
Finally, to delete a note, we will go back to the "View Signed Waivers" section of your account. Click into the participant, and then look for the 3 vertical lines in the menu:
From here, you can click on "Remove Note" as long as the "Make Signed Waiver Notes Permanent" toggle from your console settings is turned off.
