In the meantime, you can use your Smartwaiver Kiosk via your tablets browser to have almost the same functionality. This article briefly explains how to retrieve your Smartwaiver's URL, where to put it in your browser, and how to create an icon on the home screen of your tablet so that it closely resembles the Smartwaiver Kiosk app.
To do this, you'll simply navigate to the "Create/Edit Waivers" section of your account, and grab the URL of the waiver you'd like to use:
Then simply paste this URL into your browser of choice on your tablet.
From here, the instructions will be slightly different based on the browser you are using.
For Apple/Safari Users:
You'll click on the middle icon near the bottom. It looks like a box with an arrow pointing up:
Then look for the "Add to Home Screen" button:
For Android/Chrome users:
Navigate to the waiver, and then click on the 3 dots right next to the URL bar:
From here, you will scroll down the list until you see "Add to your Home Screen":
Now when you navigate back to your home screen, the waiver will appear as an icon, similar to the app.
Subsequent signatures might have to "Reset Document". If you see this screen on either Android or Apple, go ahead and click on the "Reset Document" button to reset the waiver:
Hope that helps! As usual, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us via our support email at support@smartwaiver.com.
